About the event
Craig Kingsman writes about murder because actually committing one would be a bummer for the victim. His debut novel, Murder Comes Home (Twisted Dagger Press, February), has been called “a classic mystery done right” and “a page-turner.”
Raised in a Utah Mormon family, summers on his grandparents’ Idaho dairy farm inspired the Zane Grayson Mysteries, blending family, small-town, and religious themes.
Formerly a globally recognized software engineer and speaker, Craig authored books and articles on software engineering and earned Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional award for 22 years.
Now, he writes mysteries and supports the writing community through talks and groups. His short story, “The Butler Did It,” offers a fresh twist on a classic cliché.
He lives in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains with his wife and two cats.
