About our Speaker:

Michael Kaufman is the author of four novels and seven non-fiction books. His first literary novel, The Possibility of Dreaming on a Night Without Stars, was published by Penguin Viking. His latest is “The Last Resort,” the second of the Jen Lu mystery series set in Washington DC ten years in the future. Publishers Weekly called it first “outstanding”. Author Emma Donoghue called The Last Exit “engrossing” and PopSugar.com said it’s a “must read new thriller”. He has worked in fifty countries with the United Nations, NGOs, governments, businesses, unions, and universities as an advisor, educator, and activist focused on engaging men to support gender equality, end men’s violence against women, and promote positive ideals of manhood. His most recent non-fiction book is The Time Has Come: Why Men Must Join the Gender Equality Revolution.
